Mummy....

"...your music smells" piped up my three year old from the back of the car, in a rather matter of fact manner.

What could he mean?

"Daddy's doesn't smell" he continued.

After scratching my head over his sentiments all evening and feeling slightly offended, I've come to the conclusion he means "stinks".

Yes, STINKS does seem better, not so personal somehow.

And yes, he's right, my taste in music does stink and I'm afraid it always will!

WHAT was your music? What was dad's?
We did Cornwall with High School Music - Kids Katherine Jenkins - Dad Infant Sorrow - aka Russell Brand for ME!

I do think you should consider the power of beating him with a stick though....

My little girl announced that my car smells yesterday.
"Smells of what?" I said desperately sniffing and hunting around for a rotting apple or old socks or wet umberellas.
She pauses to think about it then says: "spiders."
I never did get an explanation.

Hi Jo - Yes the boys get lots of training from Daddy. The latest one is to spy on me if I'm on the laptop when I shouldn't be. :-D

Hi Picklemum - Don't know if I should say this, but it was Radio Suffolk, 21st C Dad listens to Radio 1. He's obviously hip, where as I am probably not. :-D

Hi Frog in the Field...LOL...I could always excommunicate him to his nanny in the Welsh Valleys and subject him to Tom Jones ;-D

Hi Tara - LOL - well you see the thing with spiders is that they have legs right up to their armpits and with 8 of them, if they're not wearing the right deodorant there's trouble. ;-D

One final thing...thank you soooooooooooo much for bearing with me ladies...I've been hanging about on The Rubbish Diet blog and have neglected this one for far too long....but I'm back xxx
