At this moment in time I should be packing my cases to go on holiday but I am just too excited.
I'm always excited about seeing my sister and her family and I love going to visit them in Switzerland, which is where I will be in a few days time, but at this very minute, there is something else that's getting me all whoopie woo.
You see, today I received an important contract and I pulled out my lovely silver pen to sign it....or rather searched hurriedly through my five or so handbags to find it!
It was a very special document so it needed a special pen.
I put it (plus the two other copies) in a secure envelope marked PLEASE DO NOT BEND.
Then took it to the local Post Office, to arrange for it to be sent by recorded delivery.
So as I write it should be winging its way to London, where tomorrow morning, with the help of the Royal Mail, it will appear on the desk of someone who is very important in my life at the moment.
And that is what I am very excited about. I wish I could tell you the whole story...and I will...but only when the other person has signed their bit and it all becomes official.
So sorry to keep you on tenterhooks but at least there's clue and you don't need to be a detective to find it. I hope to reveal all when I return from my visit, which won't be long.
See you soon xxx

Geez, the excitement is killing me.
I am so excited I feel like I am going to burst.
I feel like a child starting school for the first time, taking some tentative steps into the unknown but exciting new world.
I feel like a teenager in love, knowing "He's the one" and you can't eat, sleep or think about anything else but the next date.
I feel like I did when I passed my exams, each and every one of them.
I feel like I'm eighteen again, enjoying some maturity with no experience of what it really is.
I feel like it's the night before the wedding with the anticipation of the big day.
I feel like I've just found out I'm pregnant, with so much to learn and discover.
I feel like I've got a new baby who I want to hold in my arms and nurture, yet can't wait until it can stand on its own two feet.
I feel excited....yes excited!
And the excitement is killing me....
...because I want to tell you, but must remain hushed.
So instead I am dancing around the living room, with regular whoop whoop whoops.
Relief...21st C Dad has just brought me a hot chocolate. That'll calm me down.
Phew...for a moment I thought I was going to burst.
I'm calm now. Calm.
Breathing easy...for now...!
I'm relaxed.
Tomorrow's another day....when my madness can continue once more.
So Night night! Sleep Tight! And watch the the bed bugs don't bite!
Ooooh but it's too exciting for words....[cue lightswitch...then darkness]
...and snooze.
