There I was thinking that forty was the new thirty... entering a new age with bells and whistles, but keeping my youth, humour and brain...
...until...
today...
when...
this morning...
ONE: Not only did I fall flat on my face in the garden...and I mean FLAT on MY FACE, resulting in a grazed upper lip for all to see...I think I tripped over a fleck of dust!
TWO...I later drove UP a DOWN ramp in a multi-storey car park that I've used many a time!
THREE...I somehow managed to buy jam for my four year old, which I later noticed is heavily laced with Claret.
What's going on?
Someone help, please?
I had thought I'd ask my new friend from Australia. Edith's her name. Edith Wise!
She knows a thing or two about aging!
But I'm not sure she'd remember who I was...
I suppose anything's worth a pop!

Hi Jo - fortunately the lip is much better, but I did have to keep slapping the old make-up on at a friend's wedding this weekend...hope that no-one noticed. Telescope is great thank you...I can't wait for the next clear night.
