Where were you visiting? Hope you had fun
Hi Laura - We went to Forres in Moray to stay at the Ramnee Hotel. It was my brother-in-law's 40th birthday, so the whole family got together to celebrate. Most people flew up for just one night, which was amazing. It was fabulous to go back there again. The last time we were at the hotel was nearly 15 years ago for my brother-in-law's wedding. 21st C Dad and I had only been going out for 7 months then and it was the first time I'd met most of his family (and yes I was very nervous way back then) ;-D
Oooo. Hope you had a fab time. We've never been to Scotland, but we'd love to take the girls one day.
Hi Jo - I really recommend Scotland for a visit, it is just brilliant. I love the Trossachs, just north of Glasgow where you can tour the many lochs and glens. I'd also recommend a tour around the west coast as well as a trip to Stirling. The one place where I would love to go where I've never been is Edinburgh...maybe we should all go up en masse and visit Little Mummy and Mother at Large ;-D
